My client is a top tier Investment Bank who are well known and respected for their algorithmic trading teams. An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a C++ Developer to join the team working in their front office equities algorithmic trading teams. The C++ developer will directly support the trading floor and will work amongst some of the strongest technologists around. Due to the continued success and subsequent growth of the team, there is now the chance for someone with strong C++ skills, and good business knowledge to join the team working on an exciting project involving exchange connectivity and orders and execution.

The ideal C++ Developer will possess the following skills:

-Expert C++ skills
-Linux
-Algorithmic trading experience preferred
-Knowledge of orders and execution
-Core Java is advantageous
-Knowledge of STL is advantageous
-Fluency in spoken and written English
-Capable of meeting tight deadlines and working under pressure/multi-tasking
-Strong sense of personal responsibility
-Good team player. Capable of working under a fast pace and dynamic environment

Ideally, someone with strong C++ skills, some core Java and experience working in a front office equities desk is what my client is looking for. However, a strong C++ developer who has a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn algorithmic trading will also be interesting to the team.
