Hedge Fund seeks Head of High Frequency FX Prop Desk–London–Low Latency Systems, C++, Java, FX
A growing hedge fund in London is looking to start up an FX high frequency prop desk to expand from a successful equities trading business.
The fund currently has 200mm AUM and is looking to grow exponentially across 2010. As such, they are looking to allocate their huge resources into someone who is capable of taking ownership to take complete ownership of the desk, on both the business and tech sides in either C++ or Java.
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
-Technical and programming expertise in C++ or Java,
-Real time, low latency design expertise,
-Networking/fast decoding ability,
-Experience and in-depth knowledge of the FX markets,
-The ability to grow a team.
