Global US Bank sees C++/LINUX/networking Infrastructure Expert for FX Trading Team–London-Circa £65,000 plus bonus and benefits
My client is a dynamic front office FX trading desk of a leading US global investment bank.
The team consists of dedicated and experienced technologists, working directly alongside sales and trading, with an electronic infrastructure based on C++, LINUX, windows and python.
Their distributed computing environment executes millions of tasks daily and the team are seeking to hire a talented, intelligent and motivated technologist, who can take a leading and critical role in the infrastructure; to troubleshoot, develop scripts and write tools in the support and extension of the electronic trading platform.
It is an excellent opportunity to join a team at the forefront of the business and pick up a great amount of exposure whilst greatly widening your technical skill set.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skill set:
-Deep background in LINUX,
-Networking,
-C++/Python,
-Experience working in a collaborative software development team,
-Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
This is a unique opportunity to for a passionate technologist with commercial experience (financial or non financial backgrounds welcome) to work in a well respected team within the market in a role which will greatly accelerate and propel their career.
You will be a leading figure within the team, with the opportunity to take onus of a number of mission critical projects if you can prove that you have the technical ability and an outgoing and motivated attitude.
A wide interest in the financial markets is of course beneficial, as is a desire to face a steep learning curve and work hard in a target orientated trading environment.
