Front Office FX/Equity Quant Analyst, Senior Vice President, New York, Salary: $180,000 + exceptional benefits + bonus
My clients at the one of the largest and fastest growing US Investment Banks in the world is looking to expand their offices in New York.
They are now trading more Hybrid products than any other Investment Bank at the moment and currently their Exotics trading desk is one of the fastest growing and most active in the world and they are now looking for a few experienced front office quants to join their teams. They will be offering the candidate an exceptional training schedule which will see them fast-track to managerial level in no time, with their aim to continue to grow the business as they are constantly seeking out ways to expand.
Responsibilities:
-Supporting the highly respected FX and Equity trading desk.
-Working predominantly with FX and EQ exotic products
-Monitoring and developing the analytics library.
-Assessing risk scenarios, ensuring all possibilities have outcomes set in place to avoid any confliction.
-Conducting stress testing and scenario analysis.
-Developing and creating new models.
Skills, education and experience:
-Some previous experience working with either FX or Equity products, but any industry experience involving asset exposure is also acceptable.
-PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or other related finance degree.
-Good knowledge in Stochastic Calculus, PDE modelling, binomial trees, etc.
-Extensive programming skills i.e. C++, VBA etc
